Twin tenon joinery
Though not a locking joinery like dovetail joints, mortice and tenon joinery is useful where sliding a locking dovetail is not possible. It is the traditional joinery used in building post and beam buildings which are usually locked with dowels driven through a hole drilled through the mortise and tenon.
